Treatment 4 Autism: June 2010
http://treatment4autism.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
Blog to go with my website and also to be a personal place to jot down ideas about autism, my son, and coping with this puzzling disease. Monday, June 14, 2010. Looking for a Dog for Caleb. Caleb's convinced us that we need to revisit the idea of getting a dog soon. Everywhere we go he gravitates towards the dogs (and them to him) and he finds everything they do so fun and amusing! Pics are from fishing and the carousel ride a week ago.* We're already into full summer mode! Links to this post.

Blog to go with my website and also to be a personal place to jot down ideas about autism, my son, and coping with this puzzling disease. Friday, March 4, 2011. Sigh What a rough few months! It has truly been a rough few months. Caleb has been in a "funk" that he just hasn't been able to snap out of. It started around Christmas and is continuing. He will appear to be in a good mood, but then. Today was the second day in a row that I've brought him home due to hitting a teacher. March 14, 2011 at 11:59 PM.

I visited Caleb's new class yesterday. I am very impressed with the teacher, as I get to know her better and watch her in action. She has infinite patience! We all marveled at the empathy and care shown between the 2 boys. No one "gets it" like they do! The pics are from Caleb's 8th birthday that he just celebrated la...

Blog to go with my website and also to be a personal place to jot down ideas about autism, my son, and coping with this puzzling disease. Wednesday, December 1, 2010. Hooray. He's back into the General Ed School! As of yesterday's IEP, Caleb is back to our home school full time! He has come so far in such a short time! Per his ASD room teacher, "The gap between Caleb and the other autistic students is so wide now that it's no longer appropriate to have him here." Music to my ears. :). Links to this post.

Blog to go with my website and also to be a personal place to jot down ideas about autism, my son, and coping with this puzzling disease. Friday, July 9, 2010. We've found our puppy! He finds everything the puppy does hilarious. The great thing about getting the puppy is that he now is totally interested in other animals. He now notices the cats we've had for years, and tries to get them to do similar things as the dog. I woke up this morning to, "Come back kitty! Here are a few pics of our new puppy!

~LIFE HAPPENS~
Journey of a Military Wife, SAHM, and Woman (funny how thats the last thing I label myself huh LOL). Sunday, January 1, 2012. Thankful for in 2012. Lets be thankful this year for what we have, not what we want or what we don't have. Life is too short, to NOT start LOVING our lives and appreciating the small things in them. I love my husband, kids, and family, but what I love more are the little things I overlook, or have become complacent about, so this year I am going to LOVE MY LIFE. Yesterday I receiv...
Missing You
Journey of a military wife and mother during deployments. Sunday, July 26, 2009. Its like a TORNADO. Emotions, mess, tears, yelling, fear, laughing, picture taking, emailing, call forwarding, breakage, and constant deep breathing. That's some of the words I can use to describe this deployment. There is something CONSTANTLY going on here. Some days good, some days bad, and some days, well I count down the seconds till bedtime. 1 I'm a big girl, and sweating SUCKS. 2 I'm old, and sweating SUCKS. Ya know fi...

Navy Wife Chronicles
The Hilarity, Hard Work, Adventures and Everyday Experiences of a Navy Wife and Farmer. Sunday, May 20, 2012. Fast forward. We bought a farm with plenty of property. Our son is almost 4 years old. And my husband works long hours and spends nights away from home on a regular basis. I felt it necessary to have a dog. I have always felt safer with a canine companion around to hear noises and bark into the night. So we searched for a dog like Lucy. Monday, March 12, 2012. Food: Our Chickens, will give eggs t...

Ret} navy wife chronicles. Ret} military spouse, mother, teacher, fangirl. addicted to races, pinterest, conventions. Prerequisites to 40 before 40. Posted in I Heart My Sailor! By Navy Wife Chronicles. Yesterday I attended the funeral of a coworker whom I’ve known for almost a decade but yet did not know very well. Teaching is already an isolating job where you could literally go hours without seeing another adult, let alone an adult that worked in another building on campus. Posted in I Heart My Sailor!
a day in the life of an officer's wife
A day in the life of an officer's wife. Tuesday, April 10, 2018. Ahhh Spring Break.finally! Both the girls and I were looking forward to some time off from school and a break from the daily schedule. I originally wanted to travel for the week but the airline tickets were just too pricey. Super annoying and a bit of a preview for our future, having to work around the more strict school calendar. We started our break with a few Easter activities. Who doesn't love an egg hunt in 30 degree weather? I wish we...
