Wednesday, June 15, 2011. Callie's First Two Weeks. Our first two weeks as a family of five have flown by! Callie is doing great, and Lauren and Emma are wonderful big sisters. First day home from the hospital. Lauren and Emma hold Callie every chance they get. Callie was a little jaundice, so she spent some time soaking up the sun. Friday, December 23, 2011. MERRY CHRISTMAS from the Hofers! Callie decided she needed to prepare for the holiday by learning how to crawl. I had put her in the living room the other day and found her crawling after me via the shortest path (through the dining room furniture). We opened gifts with the girls at home on Friday night. Callie didn't care about opening presents, but was quick to offer her assistance in putting each gift through the chew test. Christmas with the Hofer cousins. Ho Ho Ho Callie!

Tuesday, July 26, 2011. We've been off the blog for a while, so here are some pictures from the last few weeks. They're posted backwards, starting with the most recent. We got to help Grandma Peggy celebrate her birthday a little early. Brandon, Kim, Taylor and Kara came over to celebrate too. The girls enjoyed the slip-and-slide and the little pool. Lauren said she is "nursing Callie." She was Nurse Rapunzel and Callie was a cooperative patient. Lauren and Emma turned their sandbox into a swimming pool.
