Our Resource Lending Library was established in 1998 by a host of individuals of African descent who understood the importance of strengthening our children’s knowledge of who we are as a people and as a community. This is especially important for our youngest children as they develop their concept of self. This knowledge must be instilled through a deliberate process of a cultural education.
