Lately, it seems that people that I haven’t seen or spoken to in awhile feel uncomfortable approaching the topic of my son, or just avoid it altogether unless I bring it up. Here are some things you should know:. It’s OK to talk about what happened. The words can be difficult to say. It’s OK to talk about how you feel. Just remember to be gentle, be kind.

I have Christmas cards ready to go, well, the envelopes are addressed. I haven’t actually written anything in them, or signed them, but I started them. I MAY actually mail them before Christmas.
