Monday, 16 April 2012. I chose to do University of Maryland's Robert H. Smith's School of Business. Because I am a big fan of the Maryland lacrosse team and I know it is a highly regarded school to begin with. I chose to watch a couple lectures that relate to the content we have been talking about throughout this course. The first lecture I watched was called "Can Social Networking Sites Help Your Business? The second video I watched was titled "Making Your Innovative Idea A Reality". They talk about inn...

Although I don't take any in class courses, I think that after watching the "Red Shift" video and taking a look at Khan Academy it would have helped me a lot in my in class courses. Being a visual learner, I wish I had known about this earlier. I actually have a basic understanding of the Red Shift after watching it, surprisingly. Monday, 16 April 2012. Why are colleges and universities going the "forward learning" or web learning route? Why are they posting lectures online and giving more and more online courses? I think the answer is simple. With the amount of people on facebook and twitter or on their computer in general, why wouldn't schools do this? Sunday, 25 March 2012. Shakespeare Blog Post #3. Why do students hate studying Shakespeare? 8221; If there were a set of rules or list of what every odd word meant, we could easily understand the plays (No Fear Shakespeare). Understanding Shakespeare is difficult, yes, but there are so many resources out on the web today that it is almost harder to not understand it. Especially after researching Richard III on my own, I have found so many resources that help me to understand every little detail. I like t...
