Shaun . kristal . natalie . landon . koen . baby. Saturday, February 22, 2014. We wanted to be able to tell our kids first, before we told our other family and friends. So we told them quite early. So I called Shaun up and he looked at it.the kids just so happened to be in the same room as us so he said, "Hey guys, this is really cool because Nat made it. But it's also cool because there is a light bulb for each member of our family." Natalie and Landon quickly counted and said, "No! Such a great moment!

Celebrating Amelia and Stella: A Giant Step... Backwards.
http://celebratingameliaandstella.blogspot.com/2010/08/giant-step-backwards.html

Because of their reflux they don't intake the required amount of milk a day to actually begin the training. Although we add rice cereal to their milk (thus making them fuller on less to limit the amount of vomiting) they still may only take 2.5-3 oz at a feeding. Here's what it was looking like for a day:. 3pm: feed, girls average 2.5-3oz. A big l...

Celebrating Amelia and Stella: Choosing Joy
http://celebratingameliaandstella.blogspot.com/2011/03/choosing-joy.html
Amelia and Stella: A Birth Story. Friday, March 18, 2011. A boy stopped me yesterday. Our girls have been super fussy. For a month. We worked tirelessly to get them on a routine and got them back to taking good naps (thank you AnneMarie for your help! And even got through letting them CIO at night. We saw the light at the end of our sleepless tunnel. I've been so exhausted and whiny and generally frustrated lately. To say I needed a Jesus intervention would be putting it lightly. I admit, I was wallowing...

Amelia and Stella: A Birth Story. Saturday, December 4, 2010. Save a Life in HAITI. 8220;Once our eyes are opened, we can’t pretend we don’t know what to do. God, who weighs our hearts and keeps our souls, knows what we know, and hold us responsible to act.”. Probably not. It doesn’t really with me and I live on the same island and visit with the “ill and malnourished,” that they describe. What must be going through their minds? Are they cursing God? Are they crying out to Him for help? And it costs 12.
