Saying goodbye to the old and hello to the new year was spent in Nashville. This trip was the longest so far. I got a glimpse of the life that I am building and will very soon be living. All I can say is that it looks awesome. It will be a life filled with love, support, friends, new adventures and many twinkle lights. So here is to shedding the old and embracing the new in 2014. I want to be so much more than I have become. At 35, I am an adult. like a real one. I never really understood what that would feel like. But what I think now is that it is about perspective. About regret and re-invention. if your lucky. I want to shed. Shed who I became without trying. And the idea that I can be anything which made me become nothing. Zentangling is a new thing that was shown to me this past year. It is an art form that I have been truly able to embrace. You just start small with random pieces; some you might like, some you may not, some might even be imperfect. It will take hours, but at the end you finish with something beautiful. Wednesday, November 30, 2011. While on a Skype video call with a friend, I decided it was a good time to make lunch. I carefully placed my iPod Touch on top of my toaster oven, began gathering my ingredients, and carried on conversation as if my friend were sitting in my kitchen with me. 2 Original Vegan Boca burgers.
