Thursday, September 21, 2006. Which way is which? Each night, after I tuck Nate and Drew in, Nate always says, "Mommy, will you lay by me? Then, when I walk over to his bed, he scoots way over and says, "No, Mommy, I be in fwont, you be in back. K? I'm not sure how he determind which side of the bed is the 'front' and which is the 'back', since his bed is sort of in the middle of the room with equal space on either side. But I sure love snuggling up to him! Tonight he did something else cute!

Unfortunately, Matt got really sick and had to come home. :( It turns out he had gallstones. We are just glad it was something easy to fix! Still complicated for Matt, as this surgery is usually an outpatient procedure and he had to spend a few days in ICU, but still, comparatively, easy. And this girl turned 2. My friend Liz said she hoped it was because our life was humming along so swimmingly that we had nothing to update. That actually wasn't too far from the truth! We had an awesome 18 month run of things going well - better than we could have imagined 3 years ago. Matt had SIX MRI's over 18 months that were stable and beautiful and perfect.
