A small quilt and more prints. Here's the small quilt that I made using four of my tree prints. Last week, I did a demo about gelli printing at my guild meeting. I really enjoyed it and made of course lots of new prints while demonstrating. When I came back home, I had to put all the prints on my studio floor to let them dry. I've been playing with my Japanese fabric scraps again and completely enjoying it. Another Colorplay scrap quilt is almost finished. It's the chartreuse one. November has been a little cloudy for me, not really dark, but not very sunny either. Between bouts of flu, tonsillitis, a dental extraction and a few other snags, I've not been very productive. I just managed to make two or three special gifts that I cannot show on the blog yet. I also started sewing a new shirt. Hopefully, December will be brighter. We are expecting some cold weather and snow in the next days. I hope there will be some sunshine too. Am I losing the blogging habit? A few more Piccies.

Back from beautiful Kyoto. I am back from my favourite city in the world, and this time, I was lucky enough to enjoy hanami. I think I left a little piece of my heart in Japan, again! Friday, January 29, 2010. Snow and Ice storm.Jan 29 2010. Right now it is sleeting and has been for about 35 minutes.the snow is already crunchy. As Suzie had to go out and decided to take a couple of photos.memories, lol. Anyway, underneath is snow than some sleet and snow and now sleet. Wanted to show my gazebo. dh.
