Needles and Pans: Buckets and Spades
http://needles-and-pans.blogspot.com/2013/05/buckets-and-spades.html
One woman's journey through life and her adventures with yarn, food and trying to be a good Mummy! Friday, 3 May 2013. Living in Cornwall is not something that I take for granted. I appreciate the fact that we are very lucky to live in such a beautiful part of the world. I love it and intend to make DS understand how special it is too. Yesterday we woke up to gorgeous blue skies and decided there and then that we would go to the beach! We chose the spot for on which to deposit our belongings and then set...

One woman's journey through life and her adventures with yarn, food and trying to be a good Mummy! Friday, 8 February 2013. This week I have spent the whole week trying to recover from this awful tonsilitus and have spent lots of time resting on the sofa. I would not have managed this week without my Mum and Dad who have been magnificent with DS as DH has been at work (and at the moment is working shifts! They are now say in my lounge window enjoying the view! They certainly did cheer me up. Lined up and...

One woman's journey through life and her adventures with yarn, food and trying to be a good Mummy! Sunday, 24 March 2013. DS has recently become more and more interested and loving playing pirates! We will reveal the results when he have finished. I am an avid crafter with ...

One woman's journey through life and her adventures with yarn, food and trying to be a good Mummy! Friday, 13 January 2012. Amazing surprise winter walk. We started off at the Quayside (along the estuary) and it was gorgeous in the late afternoon sun. There were loads of birds rooting around in the mud flats and Ethan had a great time looking through his binoculars! Yes, he does know how to use them and is able to do so with good results! Ethan was still talking about the impromptu walk whilst going to b...

The Loopy Hooker: Heart bag pattern - heartsease
http://theloopyhooker.blogspot.com/2013/02/heart-bag-pattern-heartsease.html
One woman, a stick and some yarn. Saturday, 9 February 2013. Heart bag pattern - heartsease. This is a little bag pattern which I have devised in order to make heart-shaped bags for a charity event, (details of which are below the pattern). You can use whatever hook and yarn you prefer. Obviously, a small hook and thin yarn will yield a small bag, whereas a large hook and chunky yarn will make a larger bag. I used an 8mm hook and extra chunky yarn, which made a bag measuring 6 inches across. Row 14a - Ch...

http://theloopyhooker.blogspot.com/2013/01/bring-it-on-2013.html
One woman, a stick and some yarn. Saturday, 26 January 2013. Bring it on, 2013! My, oh my! How the bloomin' heck can it be 2013 already? Time really does fly. whether you're having fun or not! At the last count, I had ten WIPs in my basket*, which is a few too many, I feel. I have a bit if a problem with having too many ideas and not enough hands to hook with! I also have a bit of a yarn addiction - not sure if anyone can relate to that? Basket = strewn in corners in bags. Devon, United Kingdom. You may ...

http://theloopyhooker.blogspot.com/2012/07/sunshine-on-cloudy-day-and-delivery.html
One woman, a stick and some yarn. Tuesday, 17 July 2012. Sunshine on a cloudy day. and a delivery. :). As you can see from the first photo, the sun has been out this week! Yes, it was only for a day, but it was such a beautiful one, which brought with it some dramatic skies. I don't think the hubby is too pleased that the sun has been out, because along with sitting on the doorstep, I have been doing this. When I should have been doing this. Ah, well, what can I say? Make into a poncho? The Law of Crochet.

One woman, a stick and some yarn. Saturday, 21 July 2012. Mog's Rainbow Baby Blanket - Pattern. Right, as promised, here is the pattern for Mog's rainbow baby blanket. This was my first ever crochet design, and apart from my slightly wonky edges, (it was only the second or third thing I had ever crocheted), I am very, very proud of it! I hope you enjoy making yours as much as I did mine. Oh, and please don't be put off by the ruffled edge. it is surprisingly easy! UK terms are used. US terms in [italics]).

Anyhoo, the holidays are over and peace prevails, well, for a few hours a day! I haven't stopped hooking during the summer - oh, no indeedy! Want to have a look at what I've been up to? This is the Sunfire waistcoat I finished last night. I made it for my youngest daughter and she adores it already! Even though it's not fully finished y...

The Loopy Hooker: March 2012
http://theloopyhooker.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
One woman, a stick and some yarn. Sunday, 11 March 2012. I had to start a crochet blog. There is no way I can keep all of these ideas, designs etc to myself and the hubby is sick to death of me talking about crochet. Say the word once, and his eyes will glaze over. Say it twice and he'll twitch. Say it three times, and we're talking full-blown seizure territory. For some reason, this time around it has all clicked and now I am hooked! Pun intended and made with no apologies.). It is going to be a cowl/sn...

One woman, a stick and some yarn. Wednesday, 11 July 2012. Rainbows, stripes and grannies! Firstly, apologies for it being so long since my last (and only! Post My router blew up during a storm a few months ago - it really did go 'BANG! And it has taken me a stupidly long time to sort out obtaining a new one. I haven't stopped hooking, in fact I've been doing a lot more, and I am enjoying it more than ever! I have definitely found my 'thang', after a long time looking. This is my Attic24-inspired 'Rainbo...

House of a needleworker. Monday, February 18, 2013. Nem tudom, nézi-e, látja-e ezt az oldalt még valaki. Posted by Cserny Cherry Ildikó. Tuesday, June 2, 2009. Sunday, April 5, 2009. Januárban v...

On our garden patch that is being tended lovingly by DS and Dad there are a lot of certain types of veg all at once at the moment! We seem to have loads of courgettes and they are coming out of our ears! I have made lots of savoury things but yesterday I decided to have a go at a courgette cake. Here is the recipe:. Courgette and Raisin Cake. Juice of 1 lime.

Saturday, June 22, 2013. Playing Catch Up Again: The Guest Room (My 400th Post! Well, surprise surprise. My 400th blog post! And wouldn't you know it's my first one in three months? Imagine how many there would be if I weren't the world's worst blogger. LoL) So I just went through my last three months worth of photos and was amazed at how much has happened around here in that time. It's really no wonder I don't find time to blog. But the main floor is ever so much nicer for a guest room, don't you think?
