I guess our little Abbie and her group of friends made quite an impression on the author, because he has dedicated his book Meerkat Madness. For Judith Bows, Library Supremo, and all the children of ICS, Zurich and especially for Abbie, Lara, and Caroline, who asked me to do an adventure story for them; for Nilou who likes yellow, Esther who likes dark blue and Maria and Malti who prefer purple.". Tuesday, August 23, 2011. We had a great "end of summer" trip to London to do some shopping and visit John's extended family. Abbie loved the welcome cat and the child-sized robes in our London hotel:. I dragged everyone to the Boden store (a favorite catalog of mine for years):. Friday, December 03, 2010. As part of the primary singers, Abbie had her first three performances yesterday! She did a fantastic job singing a selection of Christmas songs. Her first event was the school's Holiday Market. Then, we rushed home, added layers of clothes for the two night-time performances, and hopped on a train into the city.
