We Have To Start Somewhere – Women of Northeast
http://women.nefw.org/we-have-to-start-somewhere
We Have To Start Somewhere. We Have To Start Somewhere. For God is sheer beauty, all-generous in love, loyal always and ever (Psalm 100:5). We Need Each Other. We Gain Joy From Our Variety. We Need To Speak Up. We Shape The Church and We Shape Culture. Where do we start? Celebrating beauty and cultivating connection. And getting wrapped up in a good book. I often feel God’s nearness through music, silence, and beauty. Click to share on Twitter (Opens in new window). May 11th, 2016. To Be Proud Of. Wow It...

To Be Proud Of. To Be Proud Of. 8220;For what it’s worth: it’s never too late to be whoever you want to be. I hope you live a life you’re proud of, and if you find that you’re not, I hope you have the strength to start over.”. I’ve found myself starting over and over and over and over again. Has that problem consumed your life, your happiness, or your faith in God? Because I am a child of God, first and foremost, I can choose to live each day new. I can choose to be who I’ve been made to be. That...Click...

Of Rocks & Life & Other Things. Of Rocks & Life & Other Things. When circumstances and people are challenging, when the monotony and mundane settles in, when unhelpful circular thoughts are winning the race in my head, it is oh so easy to make a habit of checking-out or numbing-out, to live in avoidance. But I don’t want to give up or give in! I want to engage in all the humanness of life. I want to be present and live. In my not-so-little boy buckled up in Grammy’s car for a few adventure-filled days aw...

Experience Wine Differently – Women of Northeast
http://women.nefw.org/experience-wine-differently
So the other evening after putting the kids down for bed, Andre and I sat down in front of our TV to watch a documentary on Netflix, something that has become somewhat of a habit after having kids. Unbeknownst to me, my husband had been searching the documentary list earlier in the day and had found one called Somm: Into the bottle. As I sat and was drawn into this world of wine, I was enlightened with the similarities of the description of wine and how faith looks in our lives. People who are new to wine.

This project consists of an entire website creation. Having obtained the copy and original photos from others, I put the site together according to the team’s vision. This particular site has a one-page opening homepage, which acts like an introduction to this church community. Clicking on any of the links within the homepage, the user then enters into the full site, so-to-speak, which is revealed with new menu options at the top (once you hover over certain options).
