Porter had the best week . . . soccer camp with his buddies. When we would come to pick them up they'd get my phone and get under the bleachers in the shade and play angry birds space and laugh their heads off. He would be out around 6 or 7 every night after playing so hard. The Boland's came down from Ellijay on Friday and the girls set up a lan party for their game. Richard was so proud! Thursday, August 25, 2011. Sara and Jerry tie the knot! Our oldest son Jerry and his bride Sara Davis were married and sealed for time and all eternity in the Los Angeles Temple on July 28, 2011. It was a quiet affair with no reception. They neither one like to be the center of attention. We are so delighted to have Sara join our family! Went to bed last night thinking I need to write something the other two kids have said recently, to be fair. Oh the guilt of being a mom! In the car line. While the girls were getting out of the car today and I was telling them I love them and have a great day, I could hear Porter behind me trying to be louder than me. I stopped to listen to him say, "we'll play water hose when you get home! As I pulled away he was silent for a minute and then said, "Momma, I miss my girls." Monday, April 13, 2009. Garrett knew he was good looking! Caroline got a hannah montanna wig which everyone tried on. They loved thier Easter Baskets. On Sunday we went to the in-laws for dinner and a family egg hunt. Even though the kids are all grown up now they still are tackling the little ones for candy which was quite entertaining! Sunday, April 17, 2011. This morning as I was walking to the back door from the back yard at the mission home, I caught sight of something very beautiful! The sun was hitting the glass panes in the door in such a way that it brought to light tiny finger and hand prints! WHAT ARE YOU DOING? She almost yelled at me.
