Friday, 13 April 2007. It's the night before. Well - thats it! The time is here! And im shitting it! I have no idea what to expect! Is it going to be too hot? Too cold at night? I have no idea what so ever what to expect! I feel like ive packed half an ambulance into my kit bag! I have meds for every occasion - best to be safe though as there's no Dr. going on the trip.oh, wait a minute.there is! Ah well - i'd rather be self sufficient as much as i can! He's only a tad fitter than me too.

Friday, 20 April 2007. Today began with a 17km climb - up 1800ft! Then a 20k decent into the middle of the mountain range (Sierra Madre) - to a town called Oaxaca, which is where i am now, having lunch! Got another 30k this afternoon with 12k of it uphill! Yesterday ended with rain drops the size of golf balls! We had to wait in the support vehicles at the camp spot for it to stop - the camp spot was at the top of one of the mountains we were on - middle of no where! Cant get a pic of it tho :(.

Thursday, 26 April 2007. Well, im finally done - 8 days of grulleing cycling climbing up to over 9000ft! Its the hardest thing i have ever done, but finally - im finished! Apologies for not being able to update my blog more - there have been a lack of internet cafe's! I have however been taking notes in my wee notepad - so i plan to blog the full trip with some pictures to let you know what went on!
