Neil in NZ: August 2009

http://neilritsonnz.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html

Thursday, 27 August 2009. Neil's Big Trip South. How do you ‘miss’ someone? What does ‘miss’ mean? You want them with you? Well I don’t ‘miss' John-Jo or Christabel as I want them to have fun as adults, not stick around me! We text and email, and they have only been there for about ten weeks since we were together in Lincoln in early June. Put it well –you kinda feel you have an obligation and it IS good to see family and catch up, but it’s not possessive. Was working lots, and Christy. For Monday and Tu...

Neil in NZ: February 2009

http://neilritsonnz.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html

Wednesday, 25 February 2009. 38a Kildare Terrace, Lincoln. These are the pictures, obviously! Rear garden, drive - not nice is it? And house. Typical NZ 1980s new build. Small and neat. It is opposite the 'Liffey Reserve' -a wild bit with a little river in which i spotted a young brown trout the other week. The house is 3-bed and dead ordinary but just round the corner from the shops. Exercise: Try googling Kildare Tce, Lincoln for view of distance to shops! I got this typically friendly response:. And a...

http://neilritsonnz.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html

Thursday, 23 April 2009. A While since I last blogged! Maybe things are becoming more stable? Well new stuff this week. We were asked to attend the offical graduation and as Lincoln are providing the gowns and academic dress (unlike while I was at Northumbria/UCLan/Cumbria), I have decided to go. Yesterday I went with the Dean to the rehearsal and found out some new things which perhaps I should have been acquainted with before but frankly never knew existed. Hoki hoki tonu mai. Te wairua o te tau. Tomor...
