Thursday, July 12, 2012. I've decided to start promoting my stock images using YouTube. It only went up tonight, so let's see how it goes! Yuri Arcurs swears by promoting your brand as well, although I sometimes don't think clients necessarily remember who the photographers are when downloading images, but I'm sure it can't hurt. Friday, January 4, 2013. The beauty of microstock is the annuity-type income it generates, however small. It's quite a fabulous feeling seeing that on Christmas Day, I earned about $5. Ok, it barely pays for the dessert, but still. Also, shooting recreationally over holidays always pesents the opportunity that one of the images might end up paying for the kids' Christmas presents. I like that. I loved every lonesome minute of unadulterated fun it is to shoot the ocean. . View my complete profile.
