Our 1st project from the fall session of Art Lounge was string art. This is a retro art project that was popular in the 60s and 70s and is now in again. We up dated our project with modern designs and colors. Too few nails can make there not be enough detail. Too many nails can make it really difficult to wrap the thread. It's a balance! Chevron design in progress.

Thursday, October 1, 2009. Had a super awesome crop with a Dirty Dancing Theme. Since Nellie found us a sweet place to crop FOR FREE, we all made thank you cards. Nellie showed us how to fold our "dresses" with a 6x6 piece of paper (Thanks to Lindsay for the paper! I decided to make my dress fancy by adding a sassy sash and a lovely little necklace.
