The Continuing Adventures of the Nelson Family in their New Home. Saturday, October 27, 2012. Lock Down at Sarah's School. Sarah phoned me from school this week, (an unusual occurrence, because the students are not allowed to use their cell phones during the school day), to inform me that she wouldn't be home on time because there was a lock-down at the school. Sarah's was today, at the nearby Rocky Point Park on a lovely summer afternoon (I worked from home and was able to attend), and here are pictures. Margo and our lovely surroundings . The Continuing Adventures of the Nelson Family in their New Home. Saturday, May 25, 2013. Yesterday was Margo's graduation ceremony at UBC. Some of you saw the live webcast but here are some photo highlights. Margo needed to get there well ahead of the ceremony, so with extra time to kill, Dave, Sarah and I visited the Museum of Anthropology. I'd not been before and it was quite impressive. Here's Sarah doing the "I'm crushing your head! Dave meets Richard; they'd heard much of each other.

Thursday, May 28, 2015. Busy, Busy, Busy! Spring time is a busy time in kindergarten! We had a great time participating in Fun to Be Fit. Last week. We had almost 30 people join us as we walked and/or ran around the track! It was a BEAUTIFUL day! Friday, August 10, 2012. JC Penny was offering free haircuts for school aged kids during the month of August. I took Abbie in to have 3 or 4 inches taken off. After Abbie's cut, Aimee was saying, "My turn, my turn! I told her no because she wasn't in school yet but the nice lady at JC Penny said that she could get in on the deal!
