Nepal English Education Foundation. First, the rainy season will start soon, and while we are concerned today, in about a month we will begin to forget about Nepal and that may be when they need us the most. Second concern is the Nepal constitution. They recently finished a long civil war and their recent constitutional talks were becoming strained. Disasters like these are often wonderful opportunities to seize power while claiming one's concern for the needs of the people.

Board Members: May 16, 2015. I Skyped with Deepak last night. First and foremost he was deeply saddened by the loss of American life in the helicopter crash. He expressed deep gratitude and respect for the American disaster relief, how properly it is being distributed, and how unaffected it is by Nepali corruption. It made me feel good to hear that. The community is building a bamboo structure so that the English education program will continue through the upcoming monsoon. Plans are being made to rebuild the Basuki School again in the future.
