June 21, 2016. For New Englanders: If you haven’t been to Acadia NP go! For those from outside New England: Make the trip! The diverse locations and subjects of this National Park are just fantastic. From the rugged Maine coast to a small mountain for sunrises and sunsets to a sandy beach to a stand of birch trees you can’t go wrong. Stop trying so hard! May 31, 2015. Every day I see people in the studio for their corporate head shots and the first thing they say is…. I HATE having my photo taken! We are all so self-conscious of ourselves, especially as we get older! But here’s the best tip I can ever offer anyone: stop trying so hard. When you ‘try’ to look sexy, or sultry, or serious, often times you look, well….WIERD. This is a universal fact. I’ve had my session…now what? When your website blows up. April 14, 2015. Yesterday’s big DDOS (Denial of Service) attack at GoDaddy left the social media streams abuzz with activity. Most of it negative and directed at GoDaddy, which is rather pointless, but it goes to prove that if GoDaddy can get attacked – and Sony and the government hacked even with their multi-million dollar infrastructures – so can you. So, what will happen to your business when your website goes down? Who is going to monitor this for you? Do you have a backup?
