The Journal of A Confused But Hopeful Thinker. Tuesday, August 23, 2011. Eternally Grateful, Part III. I tried to find a verse in scripture that typified the life of my son, Benjy. There were many, but I found one that seemed to fit best. In Mosiah 2:17 we read, “I tell you these things that ye may learn wisdom; that ye may learn that when ye are in the service of your fellow being, ye are only in the service of your God.”. From that early age, he knew that others' needs were just as important as his own.

Monday, December 28, 2009. I can't believe the year is almost over. How time flies! This is a quick post to let you know how we are doing. Michael still works for JBS (formerly EA Miller). It graveyards but it is a good job. His health is good, 31/2 years. Out from his last bout of cancer. Yay! Aubeny is 12 and in 7th grade. She loves to dance! She is on the competition team and will be doing a solo again this year. It was challenging but fun. I ended with an A-, A- and a B. I also passed math!
