Quick little picture post of my Halloween's as a parent. :) So far I've had 3 and they keep getting better and better. On Monkey's first Halloween, he was 4 months old. I didn't dress him up,I didn't take him trick or treating. We stayed home and passed out candy and carved pumpkins. It was lovely. Monkey's 2nd Halloween was more fun!

December 24, 2014. The moon is black waxing crescent. The mood is sad above the merriment. News of change and disagreement fill the air. We must remember this is a light affair. Just the turning of the wheels. Just the daily grind but sometimes I feel. That the grief is all mine. Along the path of zen we sometimes fall off. With changes we sometimes tip off. The percale we thought is not always constant. Though time and effort was. It just amounts to those that lift the spirits. Does nothing but destroy.
