Year in Tonga almost up! Jan 2007 - Jan 2008. Tuesday, September 4, 2007. My typical week in Tonga (shortened). Eva in the evenings to kai topai or bread. Work report writing at the current moment. Walk home for lunch. Walk to the marketi. Visit with friends ussually at my house. Cook din din with Tomo. Lots of reading - newspaper, Book of Mormon in Tongan and English, novel of the month, random stuff. Waiting on my guitar lessons - one scheduled this weekend heeey! Womens Touch Rugby at Tonga High school.

To help curb my nostalgia here are some memories I caught on camera. This is the fruit tree in the backyard. My first time eating fekika fruit. Looks like the tree of life. Fruit at the market. Vi, papaya, lemons, star fruit, bananas and indian apple. And fresh root crop. It's Tonga's rice. Kai puaka at our staff party. ISLAND H O P P I N G in Vava'u.
