My name is Vanessa Nuthall (also known as Nessie). I am the Chef, proprietor of the Bistro. Frederika Osborne (Fred) is in charge of front of house and is the person who will greet you, as I am usually in the kitchen! We went to college together and have been friends for years. We had great fun when setting up choosing cutlery, crockery and glasses that are high quality and individual. Also, little wooden spoons for salt and pepper, which were hand made, by a friend of mine.

Saturday 14th May 2016. To all our customers and friends,. We would like to thank everyone for your support over the last five years. The bistro has been everything we hoped it would be and more. We are now looking forward to the next chapter and hope to see you there. If you would like to eat early, prior to a concert or event in town, we are happy to open at 6pm and give advise on which dishes will be suitable for a quick supper, or come up with a special deal if there are 8 or more people.
