Monday, August 10, 2015. This month was full of firsts especially when it comes to traveling. He went on his first two road trips, one to Yellow Springs. Friday, June 5, 2015. My sweet boy is 7 months old. As soon as he hit 6 months, he was doing a new trick every single day. He is sitting up so well now, he is riding in the shopping cart and sitting in a high chair. He is eating solid foods and making all kinds of crazy noises. It is all happening so fast! Out of all the months so far, this one has been the most eventful and I feel he is changing from my little baby to my little man with oh so much personality! Something new makes him laugh every day....

Wednesday, January 14, 2015. Why Harry Potter makes me think of being pregnant. Before I got pregnant, I never had any desire to read the Harry Potter books. When they came out, I wasn't interested in reading them or seeing the movies, but for some reason when I got pregnant I decided I wanted to jump on the Harry Potter train.aka the Hogwarts Express and I'm so glad I did! I enjoyed the books so much that I even had my husband read me part of the 7th book in the delivery room! What should I read next?

Wednesday, April 22. I finished up our home office a couple months ago and forgot to share it! This may be my favorite room in the house (the dining room, which is almost finished, is a close second! These bookcases are what started the room! And the dimensions fit perfectly with it! They were solid, unpainted wood so I gave them a new look with some paint and new hardware! Tuesday, February 17. Foyer and Stairwell Update. Over Valentine's Day weekend, Doug and I tackled one of the more outdated areas of our house: the stairwell and foyer.
