Jun 29, 2015. This past weekend, James and I headed over to Justine's Brasserie in Austin to finally get our Lumiere Tintypes. My 29th birthday just passed and I guess I wanted something permanent and unique to "capture" my 20s before they're gone for good. These tintypes are very high quality and will last forever. I think of them as our heirlooms. James looks so handsome in his portrait. I'm so glad I got a set of 5x7s. I can't wait to frame them. Here's the road trip itinerary. Looks like a blast!

Was made in the 90's (of course) but it's become iconic. And I am proud to say it was filmed in Austin! I love quoting this movie. My nephew Ethan just moved to New Orleans last month and I wasted no time making plans to see him and one of my favorite places ever. I looked back at one of my favorite blog posts Haunted City.
