A journal about the family and what we get up to. Friday, 13 March 2009. Well March is a new month, a new season and a new semester at uni. This month has seen me as an at home mum, my dream job. Driving the kids to school, doing housework, getting my uni work done, catching up on months of missed telly and beginning the job hunt. Well another Nippers season is upon us and this year we are all involved in the club and it looks like it is going to be a big one, so far there are over 190 kids enrolled, the biggest season since I joined the club. This year has flown by so quickly I can't believe there's about 60 days until Christmas. The kids are still doing Karate and CJ is about to grade to her first RED. Belt, woo hoo! Well I best get back to Uni work.

Well this month saw us not only preparing for Christmas in the new house but for a Wedding so it was off to Sydney. While in town we visited my family, my parents and my pop both residing in the lovely suburbs of Southern Sydney. CJ has been doing really well in the pre-qualification races for the school carnival, she has so far come first in 3 different distance runs and long jump. These races were against her own house and age, she will then race against the top 3 for each house to qualify for districts. A journal about the family and what we get up to. Sunday, 15 February 2009. February - Busy busy. So the kids are back at school and it seems like Christmas happened so long ago. Easter Eggs are on the shelves and fast approaching and the kids have been enjoying hot cross buns since New Year. This month has seen us attending 3 carnivals, 2 for CJ and 1 for Coop. A journal about the family and what we get up to. Sunday, 17 May 2009. Wow we've reached the end of another month in 2009 and hasn't April flown by. First up for the month I made the decision to spend part of my stimulus money on a new Netbook. I got a bargin and I am very happy, I'm now able to schedule all my Uni work as projects and link specific documents to tasks with due dates, it's so much fun. This year was Coop's first year in Nippers and due to his age he was put into a group of Under 7 kids called Green Caps. Green caps learn everything that the older kids learn but in a fun way.
