Today’s photo is of the surprise Marlee wanted to show me today. She asked Chewy and I to go to her room so she could show us something and as I was busy doing something else she came to me and asked me to close my eyes. Today’s photo of the day is of Marlee’s hilarious sticky note that she gave me today. It says ‘Oi mum don’t forget to fart! 8217; Geez I laughed when she gave me that! The other photo I am sharing today is of my amazing breakfast I had. It is a mountain bread wrap with lettuce, bacon, egg and fresh basil inside. It was delicious! I will definitely go back!

I am off to bed for an early start to make lunches and get organised to be at school at 7.55am as I am working, woohoo! I am so glad I had the guts to ask if I could finish early to see Marlee’s class performance etc as they are letting me finish at 1.15pm instead of 3pm. Yay! And it will help me keep organised! The tale of Mon and J.R. The 3 day Huayna Potosi adventure began with an afternoon hike to the glacier and some quick lessons in ice climbing! With all of our specialised gear on we felt like real mountaineers! The guides showed us how to walk on the ice and use our ices axes to climb and fall! The tale of Mon and J.R. 11 days, 130km and 2 snotty noses. Torres del Paine National Park. The Trek begins with a 3 hour bus ride along with 100 s of like minded adventuers from Puerto Natales to the park entrance. After paying the $60 entrance fee you are given a highly inacurate map and a chance to hike in one of the iconic parks of the world. We had 11 amazing days in the park and could rave on about every cliff and slope untill the cows come home, but a few of the highlights will have to do for now.
