In an effort to take running through the sprinklers to a new level, we crafted some lightsabers out of pool noodles this morning. The sprinklers turned on just as the sports camps were taking their lunch break, so the fields were all ours. The boys dove right in and burned some serious energy. Pierce made his first trip to Fenway park today after we bought tickets on a whim while walking around downtown. We were worried that he'd be a disaster with no nap, but there were plenty of distractions to keep him happy during the hour we had to kill pre-game. First he said hello inflatable Wally at the store on Yawkey Way. Then he checked out past logos. The 50s sock was the clear favorite.

Man, was it hot out there! When we returned to Thompson in the afternoon, the place had been transformed and the jets were twice as tall as Pierce. Thank you, patient plumber! Pierce got himself a good soaking before needing a granola bar break. Monday, June 29, 2015. Camp Mom, Day 1. After a recharge with a ham sandwich.
