Matt finished up the laminate flooring last week, and it looks AWESOME in here! Before, the carpet and linoleum lined up exactly with were the two trailers would have been joined together (we live in a double-wide trailer, in a community that is not a trailer park! So yay for home-ownership, and yay for property tax? It still looks great though! Now I just need to decorate!

Thursday, 22 January 2015. Let's Just. Stop. Today I drove past a young girl. She was probably around 10, just verging on chubby, with long, blonde, slightly-damp hair. She was happily running down Orange Street without a care in the world, wearing nothing but a swimming costume, a snorkel and goggles. And you know what my second thought was? Friday, 14 August 2015. This is going to sound incredibly sad, but I've realised that due to being so tired on the weekends (or lazy, you pick), I need to make myself a list on Friday of the things I'd like to achieve over the next two days. I'm not talking about chores, tidying my cupboards or grocery shopping (I for one can't stand being at Gardens Centre in Cape Town on a Saturday!
