Nov 4, 2012. The house is really coming along quickly! The outside will soon be finished and then we will just be waiting for the inside and landscaping to be done! Here is what the outside looked like today! Here is the back view of the house behind the garage. We will have a patio and outdoor dining area in that corner! Here is our entry way. The ceilings are sooo high, I love it! My ikea chandeliers are going to look awesome in here! I am standing in the living room looking at the entry way.

Oct 31, 2012. The builders sure are quick! The frame is going up quick and before we know it the roof will be starting! Oct 28, 2012. Our foundation (minus the garage floor) is all laid! We were actually suprised to find that the concrete had been poured yesterday (Saturday). I thought for sure it wouldn't happen until Monday so when we drove up and saw it we were so excited! Oct 14, 2012. I am so excited that I get to start doing house building updates! Here is the first update! That is it for update #1!

Sep 23, 2012. I am so glad we don't live in the 80's because the outfits and hair do not suit either one of us! We went to our friend Marjorie's birthday party last week! Nov 10, 2012. The finish/stone work has started on the house. The roof tiles are ready to be installed and the stucco should be finished next week! Nov 18, 2012. Things are getting pretty close! We still need fixtures, cabinets, etc. its just a shell still. Jan 11, 2012. My sister in law Kelli and her sister in law Esther all got together for a girls night in Vegas last week. It was so much fun! We got to Vegas Friday afternoon and started with a few rounds of Rummikub (facebook style rules) and then got hungry and headed to Olive Garden! Regardless of the weird waiter, we still had fun! After dinner, was a few more rounds of Rummikub! After we were Rummikub'ed out, we headed upstairs to play some bejeweled on the xbox! Kelli got comfy in her "nest" :).

I know it seems like our family has been down to Las Vegas every week lately because all of our posts involve Vegas, but we went down yet again to go to the NASCAR truck race and Rally Car event that was going on. Nov 22, 2012. Well it seems that the inevitable happened. Blogger told me I have maxed out my storage for this blog, so it is being retired and this new blog is taking over:. Http:/ ourmickpartyof5.blogspot.com/. I tried and tried to trick blogger into letting me stay here. I deleted posts that I have already put in blog books, and pictures off of my picasa web albums, but blogger is smarter than that. Hope you find us ok.those of you that still read blogs of course! I guess it isn't "cool" anymore :D.
