Janingalina: December 2005
http://janinga.blogspot.com/2005_12_01_archive.html
Every day is a new adventure. A couple of my normally-available gal pals have been busy and hard to run into lately. :(. Happily, I'm spendin a little time with some new gals. Fun girls' night with Allie, shooting at the range and suuuuuuushi (and warm sake! For dinner. Turns out she's a downhill skiier, so I may just have another friend to hit the slopes with. Lunchtime gym'min/swimmin with Pia, and this weekend we might just go XC skiing. Posted by janingalein @ 8:14 PM 0 comments. Home for a rest.

Janingalina: Scotland, Part 3, Harris, St. Kilda and Iona. + Glasgow
http://janinga.blogspot.com/2008/09/scotland-part-3-harris-st-kilda-and.html
Every day is a new adventure. Scotland, Part 3, Harris, St. Kilda and Iona. Glasgow. A Sunday. On Harris, nothing is open. One can't get a cab because they don't break the sabbath. One can't get tweed, because that would also be breaking the sabbath. It's a lonely and forlorn place, inhabited for thousands of years but evacuated in 1930. Now sheep wander amongst the stone cairns once used for drying seabirds, abandoned blackhouses, and dry stone fences. I'm now a credited nature fotografin. Anyway, as we...

Every day is a new adventure. I've always liked reading blogs. They are like the books of the Internet. But there was a long time where I didn't have time to sit down. I didn't have time to compose. Every day is a new adventure. Who ever writes that in a subject line? You know how they have to make everything in Germany complicated? Like they cant have All-Season tires, theyve got to have summer and winter tires? First i pull down the trapdoor, crawl up into the attic. crawl back down when i realize that one of the lightbulbs is out and i cant really see up there. cannibalize a lightbulb from my apartment to replace the attic bulb. find my tires in the far corner of the attic. Tires piled in the ent...

Every day is a new adventure. Everyday is like christmas. I have such good friends, and they're all so different. Ni, so understanding, as i absconded with his wife on his birthday. I am blessed to have such good people in my life. While i'm on this paean to the people i love, let me mention F and Ne. F, the sweetest programmer I know, the most literate and thoughtful. Ne, another woman whose pluck and drive i've admired. loving and steadfast, this is a woman who overcomes tribulations. Home for a rest.

Janingalina: The forest results.
http://janinga.blogspot.com/2014/10/the-forest-results.html
Every day is a new adventure. After starting so many rosemary clippings I tried to keep them watered. Only the inner circle really stayed moist the outer edge pots were always drying up and dying. I gave several away, many died, and I think I had about 7 left over. It was a great experiment and I will definitely try rooting rosemary again. They seem to really need to stay wet. Every day is a new adventure. Joy or happy abandon. I so often forget that i need to live my life with joy and happy abandon. and when i've forgotten for a while and then remember, that's the best. it's a new revelation. it's beautiful. I yoga'd after work tonight. i almost skipped it. but i got there in time, so there i was. we did handstands. it was my first time. the world is completely different when it's upside down. And the instructor said, this is a most auspicious evening! Home for a rest.

Every day is a new adventure. Vegas, Babies. Vegas. Oh dear readers, I had to log on and share. I believe you'll be glad I did. To clarify, this is not a kiss and tell post. I don't do that here. These are the sorts of stories that can be shared. What a trip it's been so far. Our flight was 2h late departing lovely Flint airport. (truly a Jooky. Day 3: More seeing of sights - Luxor, Mandalay Bay, and Excalibur. Excalibur was extra cheesy, but I got to try out a different sort of mail:. And whomever I'm s...
