Sunday, March 24, 2013. Last week, I spent three glorious days in Yakima at a conference. Granted, Yakima was not so glorious. Driving over the pass was gross with snow, it was freezing in Yakima, and there wasn't a whole lot to do in the town, other than the attendance the conference. Caught up on my emails, and took an afternoon to myself and napped. There was even a little shout out to my school at the American Heart Association at a booth! Sunday, April 28, 2013. Tonight, Alexander told me he doesn't remember my dad unless he looks at pictures. I knew it would happen. I knew it couldn't be avoided. It made my heart hurt. This is my life. Tuesday, April 9, 2013. What an amazing spring break! We had a staycation.sort of.kind of. well, a staycation that we had to fly to. We flew to LAX. On Virgin America. It is so hard to sit by and watch your 14 year old choke and not be able to breathe because he is coughing so hard. So, I was fortunate enough to get a job teaching 7th and 8th grade social studies at Pioneer Preparatory Academy. This is my life. Monday, January 28, 2013. Jeff turned 40 on Christmas Eve. There is not alot of birthday celebrations going on that day between work and church and he really wanted to go somewhere. And of course, he wanted to go to Vegas. Kinda cliche, but not my party so off we went. I forget how much I really just don't like donating my money and not getting anything in return for it.
