A Kid at Heart: Thoughts on Thanksgiving
http://deniseelaine.blogspot.com/2007/11/thoughts-on-thanksgiving.html
A Kid at Heart. Thursday, November 29, 2007. I am a little behind on the whole Thanksgiving thing, but I didn’t want this time of year to pass without some thoughts. Thanksgiving is not just a day, it is learning to live in a state of thankfulness. An awareness of things to be grateful for in our lives, an attitude. I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving and will continue to count your blessings because there are so many! This is what I like to see.they did a great job with those potatoes! We could all ...

A Kid at Heart: HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Daryl
http://deniseelaine.blogspot.com/2008/05/happy-birthday-daryl.html
A Kid at Heart. Friday, May 30, 2008. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Daryl. I was thinking about you today and was mulling over my memories of yester year. These are some of my memories of you-. You used to tickle me a lot and I would usually end up asking Mother to make you stop. Now, however, the tables have turned and you are much more ticklish that I and I usually take advantage of that. Remember, what goes around usually comes around. I do not think I terrorize you too much now. Hmmmm - maybe. Other Blogs I Like.

A Kid at Heart: February 2008
http://deniseelaine.blogspot.com/2008_02_01_archive.html
A Kid at Heart. Sunday, February 24, 2008. Yesterday Gail decided that he was hungry for these cookies, hungry enough to make them himself. He gathered all the ingredients, and then called his mom for play-by-play instructions. He thought that he could tell when the dough was ready since he had a lot of experience when he was young eating the dough. I laughed at this, but I do believe he did know when the dough was just right. Here are some pictures of this adventure:. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

A Kid at Heart: December 2007
http://deniseelaine.blogspot.com/2007_12_01_archive.html
A Kid at Heart. Saturday, December 29, 2007. During this Holiday Season I’ve learned that I have to pace myself a lot better than I have in the past. I hope this will not always be the case, but for now it is. We decided not get so wrapped up in all the hoopla of the Holidays. For the most part, I think we succeeded! And I am grateful. I only had several days that I was down and out, but that is a lot better than it could have been! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. Other Blogs I Like.

A Kid at Heart. Tuesday, October 28, 2008. Mountains, Cabins and Bucking Pintos…. I see where Daryl started blogging again and thought that maybe it was time to get back in the blogging game. Good to be back. I was mesmerized by her tireless work gathering food for the winter. The birds were breathtaking too. A woodpecker was right outside our door and was just beautiful to watch as well. Okay, you get the picture. Have you ever felt God’s pleasure? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.

A Kid at Heart. Sunday, October 7, 2007. What a wonderful surprise! I had a very nice – to say the least - surprise this weekend. On Thursday evening our door bell rang. I went to answer the door and when I opened it, there stood Leah. I was quite surprised and asked her what she was doing here? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. A Kid at Heart: August 2007
http://deniseelaine.blogspot.com/2007_08_01_archive.html
A Kid at Heart. Wednesday, August 15, 2007. Lessons from an Ant. I stood there and said “stupid ant”. After all that, he simply repeated his fateful act and landed in the water again. After awhile, Gail took pity on this ant and splashed him out of the water and on to the concrete. He cleaned himself off again and after that? Another time and Blog.) I am grateful for friends and family who love me too. I hope the little ant made it out of the water. He might be in the skimmer right now…...
