Thursday, April 30, 2015. It was announced internally the other day that we will be relocating our headquarters. The good news is, we're staying downtown St. Paul. The bad news is, no more direct skyway access (or at least I'm told - I guess we'll see once we actually move). We're moving from our current three buildings and merging into one, much bigger building, the old Travelers Insurance tower. I don't know how I feel about this. Tuesday, March 31, 2015. Meat, Chocolate, Cheese.babies? I definitely don't get to the Melting Pot enough. Heather, Jenni, Kate, myself and one of Heather's friends gathered here tonight to celebrate Heather's 31 birthday. As if there haven't been baby announcements dropped all around me, there was another bomb dropped tonight. In fact, 3 of the 5 pictured below are currently pregnant. And no, one of those 3 isn't me. Tonight, as the girls were inside playing a game of 'Farkle' (a dice game Amy taught us), the guys were outside.with a bunch of beers, a little fireball and a stolen bottle of Rumchata. Reggie's size has never bothered me much, unless he's pulling me around on his leash- which, believe it or not, doesn't happen all that often- only when he's SUPER excited which is pretty much any time anybody else happens to see him. Are dogs even capable of these thoughts? Is he seeing us in color or what is his world like? Does he feel like this is his home? Or that he's trapped with no means to escape? Sunday, June 14, 2015. So you ask yourself, can bears swim? Well, Reggie Bears sure can but we had to figure this out the hard way. Schmidty is a swimming fool. That dog wants to spend all day retrieving sticks from the lake. Reggie would also love nothing more than to retrieve these same sticks, but he refuses to go further than chest deep in the water and thus, Schmidty gets all the sticks. Luckily I was laughing about it a few hours later. You can't tell here, but I am soaked! It's the big things.
