Well, a lot has happened since I last posted, but it doesn't really seem like I have a lot to tell. Life! I didn't really get to finish my 21 day challenge, but I am still having success with my weight loss and eating healthier. Thursday, October 1, 2009. Our Family Enrichment Committee (that David and I both serve on) just planned and carried out a Family Retreat for our church family. It was so much fun! I wish everyone could have been there. Those that couldn't, truly missed out! I can't wait for the next one, and I hope that more people will come. We, as a committee, were pleasantly surprised by the turn out we had for our very first retreat. Our expectations were met and then some! Have one every year, please!

We are consulting one of our ministers who has a lot of experience and education on grief. He tells us that the things Lafe is doing and saying are healthy. I took Jayden to Kids In Action today. It was so much fun! This is a place where kids develop skills and do gymnastics. They use a Kindermusic curriculum that is so creative! They have free play every once in awhile and that is why we went today. We met some friends there and Jayden had such a blast! She was fearless and wanted to try EVERYTHING!
