Newcastle city farmers and craft market. The under cover and outdoor market is held on the second and fourth Sundays of each month rain, hail or shine at the Newcastle Showground, Griffiths Rd, Broadmeadow. IT'S the Australia Day long weekend, but the markets will be happening this Sunday. The market will start at 8am and go through until around 1.30pm. There will be plenty of fresh meat, poultry, pasta, seafood and plenty of fruit and veg to take home. Then there is the great range of hand crafted goods.
