Blogging About Teaching!: Math Reflections...
http://aron3-blog.blogspot.com/2011/03/math-reflections.html

Throughout countless class discussions, I have begun to realize the importance of students sharing their thinking out loud. By doing this, the student gets to teach their method or strategy to the class. As a teacher, I need to remember that the strategy I rely on might not be the preferred one by my students. Quick f...

I Want to be a Teacher When I Grow Up. Wednesday, February 2, 2011. I attended a LID (teacher in service training day) Monday where we discussed methods for true formative assessment. I Want to be a Teacher When I Grow Up. Wednesday, February 2, 2011. Mathematics of a Honeycomb. I guess I never fully appreciated the intelligence of this small, pain inflicting, creature. This video is rather outdated, but very fascinating! I think this conjecture has the potential for a very interesting and fun integrated math and science lesson. By the way, what took you to this search? Have you found others that are interesting? February 28, 2011 at 12:45 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
