Sunday, February 12, 2012. We celebrated Bobby's birthday a weekend early with an all boy (plus little sister Greta) overnight birthday bash at a hotel. Bobby invited a few close friends from school to spend the night swimming, eating pizza and playing video games. My sister, David and Mikko joined us for swimming and pizza as well before the "big" kids stayed up literally all night long playing. They finally crashed at 6:30am! Greta went to a friend's birthday party at Scoops Kids Spa at the Mall of America. The girls got a manicure and pedicure, along with a tiara, sparkly tattoo, tshirt and nail polish to keep. Sunday, March 4, 2012. Greta and I went to Disney On Ice for a little girl time. We had great seats and the ice show was really good. Greta loved the skaters costumes and the lighted lanterns they used when they did the Rapunzel story. It was a fun afternoon out with my now not-so-little girl. He got his math award (the one he always wants), a reading and attendance award as well. This was the first ceremony with our new Principal, Hamilton Bell, in attendance. Sunday, March 25, 2012. Greta's First Ice Show! Greta skated in her very first ice show this weekend. Her routine was The. And the show theme was TV Favorites. Their routine was so adorable! They did a really good job. Greta was worried if they would remember what to do since their coach wouldn't be on the ice with them. But they aced it! Skating and was so excited to wear her sparkly costume. Greta's already wondering what she'll get to be next year! We're so proud of our little skater!
