http://stitchreadwrite.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
Thursday, March 10, 2011. Well, I decided to give myself a chunk of stitching time, and I managed to finish the February owls by Tonia of OakHaven Designs. They are so cute! Host of the Totally Useless Stitch-a-long. Asked about how to join this SAL. It is for members of Tonia's Yahoo Group. Important things done, namely my stitching projects! This is what I have lined up:. 3) A birthday present for my sons GF, due in late May. I worry about this one, because it is right in the midst of unpacking and...

http://stitchreadwrite.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
Thursday, January 6, 2011. First finish of 2011! I'm so excited - I have never finished something so early in the year before! This is the first installment of OakHaven Designs Months 2011 SAL. I omitted stitching the month at the bottom because I'm waiting to see how the others look before I decide if I want to use them as monthly patterns. I love this little guy! Pattern: Months 2011 - January. Fabric: 28-ct Powder Blue Meran. Threads: DMC as charted, except I substituted 3750 for the recommended 937.

The 1st weekend this month I was lucky to attend two bead workshops with Marcia DeCoster a Bead designer from the USA, our bead group and a couple of others had arranged for her to come over and teach some classes. http://stitchreadwrite.blogspot.com/2011/05/it-isnt-even-new-moon.html
Wednesday, May 25, 2011. It isn't even the new moon! Time for an update, and it's not even because I need to post my TUSAL progress! I *finally* got some decent photos of the squares Jennifer of Sweet Pea Stitches. Sent me for Round 23 of the Fair and Square exchange. Rhodes Butterfly Biscornu by Kincavel Krosses. This is why I'll never be a star in the stitch-blogging world. My photography skills are near zero. I could not get a photo to do justice to how pretty this is! Thank you, Jennifer! Is licensed...

My Sometimes Cross Stitching Obsession
http://mysometimesstitchingobsession.blogspot.com/2015/02/so-this-is-another-one-that-i-stitched.html
My Sometimes Cross Stitching Obsession. Friday, February 20, 2015. So this is another one that I stitched more than just a while ago. It is The Token by Long Dog. I stitched it on 32 count cream lugana with Carries Creations silks. I absolutely looooove her silks! I decided to make it into a pillow, guess I'm on a pillow craze right now. Well that's it for me this week, wish I could get out of my slump, ugh. February 20, 2015 at 9:30 PM. February 24, 2015 at 2:52 AM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Stitch! Read! Write!: TUSAL
http://stitchreadwrite.blogspot.com/2011/05/tusal.html
Wednesday, May 4, 2011. Just a quick post to share my TUSAL progress. I actually did get some stitching done during our move, so there are some pretty greens and pastels in there. I finished my March installment of the Oak Haven SAL, and received some gorgeous Fair Squares from Jenn. I am having a terrible time getting decent pictures; it has been grey and cloudy lately. I will try again and post on those later. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Subscribe in a reader.

Stitch! Read! Write!: July 2011
http://stitchreadwrite.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
Saturday, July 2, 2011. TUSAL and OakHaven SAL update. Only posting once a month works pretty well for me. It helps me keep a record of my stitching, and the TUSAL deadline keeps me motivated both to stitch and to post. I got a lot (for me) of stitching done this month. Worked on the OakHaven Owl SAL, my Fair and Square Blackbird Designs round, and Sophie's Pincushion from Shepherd's Bush. So, my TUSAL. Update shows quite a bit of progress! And here are the April and May birds from the OakHaven SAL.
