The drip line install took only a few hours, besides the advanced research and planning. We had one sprinkler manifold which came with the house, and has three valves total. The border of our existing garden was laid out with stones, but because of the slope of the hill that is the whole yard the border had eroded on the eastern edge and wasn’t in amazing shape. Adventures in Home Ownership. Here’s a few gardening updates! We planted some hops rhizomes a few weeks ago. At first we though we killed them all, but eventually they did start pushing up little buds. Now, only 1 of the 8 planted seems to not be alive. We ordered a fancy new sprinkler control system, which connects to your wifi and checks the weather; if it’s gonna rain soon, it’ll change the watering schedule accordingly. April 30, 2016.
