Tuesday, February 11, 2014. We traveled back to Iowa this weekend to attend my nephew Grayson's baptism. We were excited to see family and spend the weekend with everyone. It always goes by so fast! The baptism was on Sunday at the church that both Jenna and I got married in. It is a very pretty church with a lot of great memories. Tuesday, March 11, 2014. We traveled the last week in February to Disney World! It was the first time we had taken the boys on a week long vacation and the first time they had ever flown on an airplane. The boys did great on the plane. Sunday, February 16, 2014. Happy Valentine's Day a few days late! We enjoyed our Valentine's Day with lots of celebrations. Each boy had a party at school complete with lots of treats. B brought Angry Birds valentines to give to his friends. Since we are 5 days away from our Disney trip it was only fitting that our Valentine's to the boys were Mickey themed, complete with a gift card to spend on vacation. Tuesday, March 11, 2014. Looking back through our pictures, I realized how much fun we had. We squeezed A LOT of crazy fun into one week. So much so that is is requiring two posts, so here is the continuation of our week:. Animal Kingdom day was very cold (not Illinois cold but Florida cold) in the 50's and rainy. Thursday, November 6, 2014. I volunteered to do Art Cart for Elizabeth's class. This was my first lesson. We did color mixing.with frosting! How to achieve that beautiful purplish brown color! Mom rocks at building the Lincoln Log cabins. Beautiful tree in our yard. It was the first to turn and first to lose all it's leaves. Working on reading with Daddy. Adult get-away weekend. Tuesday, August 19, 2014. Elizabeth's First Day of School. A new charm for her bracelet.Minnie Mouse. Elizabeth and the neighbor boy who rides the bus with her. Elle and Grant the pre-schoolers! Just focus on the braid here people! That is her in the window there.it is oh so appropriate that she would choose the seat with the emergency window! She is so ready! Sunday, July 26, 2015. Her Majesty's Tea Room. Here is a little hidden gem that we have just discovered thanks to a dear aunt. A real British high tea experience right here in Illinois. Part gift shop, part tea room - it's just adorably eclectic! Elizabeth has already asked to go back! Elizabeth thought it was so cool to "meet" her Queen! The good witch was hidden inside an adorable little cottage! Lots of hats to try on! I just loved this chandelier! She is kissing a frog with her big wax lips.
