New Hope's core values underpin all that we do. Does what says on the tin. We are a local charity that found its beginnings in the Sunday meals programme which has been running for several years at the Ashton Church of the Nazarene. Whilst running the meals programme it became obvious and apparent that many of our participants struggled with life skills i.e. Basic numeracy and literacy; often through no fault of their own. We felt that the need had to be addressed and New Hope is our response to this.

New Hope's core values underpin all that we do. Was set up with financial backing from the Church of the Nazarene in Ashton under Lyne. The church also give us office, kitchen and classroom space, and while several of our volunteers are members of the church, some other people in the local community volunteer with us too. We could not exist without the hard work of our volunteers, many of whom are from a social services/teaching background, and thank them for their help. End to End on a Shoestring.
