新生基督教会的形成历经两个重大的发展阶段。它们是新山关怀中心和更新基督教会。恰巧在这两个机构的历程中又个别演变成不同的独立机构。 新山关怀中心成立于一九九四年，是由新加坡关怀辅导中心支援在本地的一个非营利机构，专门于服务社会辅导工作，当时不算是一间教会，但以上两个机构都算是由基督徒所成立的福利机构。 直至一九九八年新山关怀中心失去新加坡方面的支援而形成独立运行的社区服务机构。在当时由辅导员杨碧茹姐妹继续掌舵赋予社会关怀和辅导的工作。同年新山关怀中心搬迁至新山百万镇，并以更新基督教会的姿态不只赋予社会服务也担负起建立神国度的使命。 然而，由于各种外在和客观因素，新山关怀中心在二〇〇三年停止对外的社区工作；当时由首任开荒牧者黎锦坡牧师带领的更新基督教会则继续行使教会的角色。 直到二〇〇四年起由郭金顺牧师和苏小梅牧师接任带领更新基督教会的使命。自此，更新基督教会正式易名新生基督教会，迄今。 目前，新山关怀中心虽然已不再提供对外的辅导工作，但已改名JB Care作为新生基督教会的其中一项以乐团服务社区的教会事工。 Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

12298;“亲亲知我心”孝亲音乐餐会》：日期：19/06/11，时间：下午5点，于教会举行，特别来宾由苏士民分享见证，演出者有新山关怀爵士乐团，届时请购票入席，包括餐食招待。 4月9日，晚上7点半照常于金顺牧师住家开办组长读书会。而后牧师也将报告及讨论有关组长前往金马伦向Tapak原著民做短宣的事宜。 今年12月1至8日将预定到泰北做短宣。有意参与的可以向金顺牧师报名，全程经费约RM1,600/=. 为纪念受难节与复活节，4月份开始的每周三清晨6 – 7 点将由金顺牧师带领在教会召开〈晨庚培灵祷告会〉，届时欢迎弟兄姐妹前来祷告，也在这期间为世界危机做禁食祷告。 于3月12日，傍晚7点半，郭金顺牧师将在其住家招聚组长读书会，到时请组长们准时出席，也顺道各自预备美食共进晚餐。 于3月5日，在Peter弟兄住家召开理事会议，届时请理事们务必出席。 从2月25日起（每月第2 及4星期五），晚上8点将在教会恢复举行祷告会，鼓励大家来参与。 主题：《末日属灵争战的兵器》. 日期：01 至 03 /05/2011，时间：晚上8点. 讲员：苏义德 牧师，张哈拿 牧师.
