Rich has a new kidney. Wednesday, January 14, 2009. Hi, everyone. Wow, I think we may be past the worst of it now. We have had a few up's. And a few downs. The biggest " up's. Are that Rich is now able to drive, so I don't have to take him to his clinicals. And the fact that last week was the final week that he needed to have 2 clinicals. And then drive back to work. He is still having two labs a week. The down was that when we went in last Friday, we found out that his creatinine. Better when he woke up.

Rich has a new kidney. Tuesday, December 30, 2008. Well, it looks as if Rich will be in the hospital at least one more day. Yesterday they drew 360 cc's. Of fluid from around his kidney. I had to ask how much that was, and apparently it is about a quart. Wow. No wonder he was so uncomfortable. He has a lot less pain today then he has been having, so probably that was the irritating factor. And yes, it could come back. If it does, we will deal with it then. Monday, December 29, 2008.
