New Line Ministries: June 2014

Tuesday, June 24, 2014. Psalm 23:1–3a: The Lord. Is my shepherd, I shall not be in want. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he restores my soul. God shepherds all of his people. If you are his, you are under his care, and you do not get lost in the fold. He sees you, individually and personally. Whether you feel you are the best or the worst among us, for all who have trusted in Christ, he is your faithful and sufficient Shepherd. God provides more fully, more comple...

In other words, from asking questions like, “What’s working? What’s not working? How can we do it better? So, what are some examples of “drifting” in pragmatism? I was in a conversat...

What is the good of an army without an objective? What good is an eye if it is not attached to the optic nerve? Can anyone play basketball with a deflated ball? Laquo; BLACK EYES NEEDED NOW MORE THAN EVER. Did God Speak to Katy Perry? THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SERMONS AND MESSAGES. April 11, 2015 by Monte Shanks, Ph.D. BACK SCRATCHERS OR HEART SURGEONS? One Christmas I got the best backscratcher ever! It is made of aluminum, it has a rubber handle, and best of all it is retractable! And that is the point, isn’t it? New Line Ministries: December 2014

Tuesday, December 30, 2014. Stories in the Room. Adam is the Lead Pastor at Springhill Church. And the Director of New Line Ministries. The other day I had a luncheon with several other pastors. Personally, I hate getting together with groups of pastors. It normally becomes all about sizing people up and comparing churches. Nevertheless, I was invited, and being reasonably new to the area, I decided to go. I pulled into the parking lot of the designated location, let out a sigh, and got out of the car.
