NewlyWifed: Diagnosing Edie's Tongue Tie
http://thenewlywifedlife.blogspot.com/2015/08/diagnosing-edies-tongue-tie.html
Tuesday, August 4, 2015. Diagnosing Edie's Tongue Tie. Was my first clue that Edie might be tied when she dropped off the weight chart at eight weeks. Unfortunately, another two months went by before her ties were confirmed and revised. Her pediatrician and an ENT who was "very knowledgeable with ties" both claimed that her mouth looked fine. Even more unfortunately, this happens to lots of babies/families before they find a doctor who actually recognizes a tie. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). I'm Jo...

NewlyWifed: Finding God through Nursing
http://thenewlywifedlife.blogspot.com/2015/08/finding-god-through-nursing.html
Monday, August 3, 2015. Finding God through Nursing. Edie takes a tumble and bumps her head. She immediately cries, "Mamaaaa! I scoop her up and she tears at my clothes until she's safely latched, never looking up at me. My breast is her safe place. It's also her BFF. When she's playing around with a big spoon, banging it on the floor, she has to crawl over to show the boob. She pinches it between her fingers (always reminding me I really need to cut her nails! We've started to realize "Mama! Even though...

Tuesday, August 18, 2015. Eden Faye, 10 Months Old. I am 10 MONTHS OLD today! Here's what I'm up to lately:. I weigh 16 pounds and am about 27 inches tall. NewlyWifed: On Losing the Baby Weight (and then some)
http://thenewlywifedlife.blogspot.com/2015/08/on-losing-baby-weight-and-then-some.html
Monday, August 17, 2015. On Losing the Baby Weight (and then some). Why could I suddenly pull my shorts down and off without unbuttoning them? I was sure it was just a fluke, maybe they had stretched out. When we got home, I changed into running shorts and reminded myself to dry the next load of laundry on high. I was nervous when my new shorts came in a week later- what if I'd overestimated this new confusing body of mine and bought a size that was way too small? The shorts were too big. In that moment ...
