Wellsopolis: January 2008
http://lunasolis.blogspot.com/2008_01_01_archive.html
Wednesday, January 23, 2008. On the Road Again. Well, we're wrapping up our massive packing event of 2008 and planning to hit the road sometime next week which means we will be offline for a couple of weeks while we transition. But, fear not! Although we've been busy with packing, we've made time to really get some quality video chatting in. Ryan was able to easily connect up with us using her new iBook! Oh, and Happy Birthday to Dad who just quietly celebrated his 59th birthday! Donna and Ken Spring 2009.

Wellsopolis: Beach Babies Tampa
http://lunasolis.blogspot.com/2009/06/beach-babies-tampa.html
Saturday, June 06, 2009. Beth and I enjoyed a lot of time to compare notes on being a double Mom (which is MORE than twice as difficult as being a Mom to one btw). We talked about all the fun ups and downs. And, I was particularly excited to discover Jake's yet undiscovered ability to sing several songs including ABC's, Twinkle Twinkle and a few other classics. Enjoy the photos. I'm starting to get a handle on my new picture posting service. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Donna and Ken Spring 2009.

Wellsopolis: Eri's Graduation
http://lunasolis.blogspot.com/2009/06/eris-graduation.html
Saturday, June 06, 2009. As of now, the Younis siblings are done with college! I'm sure parent's checkbooks are cheering everywhere. It was a wonderful trip, but i have no time for the usual play-by-play so I'm pasting in an email I sent out shortly after my return. I wish I could have stayed on to celebrate Toby's graduation Summa Cum Laude from Culinary School. Congratulations and virtual hugs to Toby! I've also uploaded a round of videos to the Youfube accot (username 'gadgetronica') for your amusement.

Wellsopolis: February 2008
http://lunasolis.blogspot.com/2008_02_01_archive.html
Saturday, February 23, 2008. We are just now starting to settle in to our house and as of today we have phone and internet. My first thought was of course to update the blog! Well, we've told a handful of people, but it's time to come clean. We are indeed expecting baby #2! However, one of our first priorities was to get the house ready to sustain and entertain guests. As of now, our doors are open! We can offer food, shelter and free internet access. We would love to have visitors! John and Ramey Wed.

Before and After: Sewing Table. August 17, 2011 at 4:53 pm. Here is the masking stage. I did the majority of the masking and painting in complete darkness. It’s not the best idea, but it made it more exciting to see it in the morning and it’s sometimes the only me-time option when you have toddlers. I used blue painter’s tape and some scrap paper. Removed all hardware and hidden sewing machine using mostly a phillips head screwdriver. Light sanding with a fine 220 grit sandpaper. Grandma B’s cabinet.

Sunday, July 13, 2008. Oregon July and Baby Updates. He was a chatter box the whole time. He seemed to connect with Grandpa Ken and liked to call him "Pop." He would constantly inquire where Pop was and if Pop was in the room, he would tell Pop exactly what he was doing at any one moment. He finally settled on the nickname "Gram" for his Grandma Donna. Some of the other funny phrases he started using during the trip include:. No way" when he doesn't want to do something like get his diaper changed;.

Wellsopolis: April 2008
http://lunasolis.blogspot.com/2008_04_01_archive.html
Thursday, April 17, 2008. Phoenix Passes 18 months. He loves reading books with people. We've garnered a great collection of board books that includes a lot of Eric Carle books and Dr Seuss, of course. I think his current favorite is Mr Brown Can Moo. He likes the part where I say, "BOOM BOOM BOOM! He still loves the water. We just picked up a cheapo pool that we plan to set up for him and the cuz's to enjoy for the summer. Anyway, it's pretty cute when he calls himself "you.". I've posted some new video...

Wellsopolis: November 2007
http://lunasolis.blogspot.com/2007_11_01_archive.html
Thursday, November 08, 2007. I just thought I'd happily report I just fell below my pre-baby weight! For those of you that are interested in statistics, I was 130lbs when we moved here. I was about 150 after having the baby (mostly thanks to an all-pizza diet during one month). And today I weighed in at 128! OK, so I don't look like I did when I was in college, but I look healthy and I look like myself! Foods I don't miss: potato related, sodas, sugar based candies like Smarties, and #1.caffeine. Noggin ...

A Weekend Steeped in Arts – Traveling Jamesburys

Where ever you go, there you are. Why a Travel Blog? A Weekend Steeped in Arts. We started our weekend of arts on Friday morning with a visit to the Georgia O’Keeffe Museum. After an afternoon of prairie dog hunting through Santa Fe. Saturday plans took us on a delightful drive to Tesuque, which is a small town about 15 minutes north of Santa Fe. Our destination was the Shidoni Bronze Foundry. To see the magical floating staircase. The legend says that after the chapel was completed in 1878, the fina...
