Launch new noise radio. New noise's repertoire comprises music for oboe, percussion and electronics in any combination, except electronics alone. After discovering Iannis Xenakis 1975 work, Dmaathen. In 2001/02 new noise toured the UK as 'Electric Lives' with sound engineer Pete Stollery, performing music with tape diffused through an 8 channel speaker system. Since July 2002 new noise has regularly collaborated with sound engineer Matthew Fairclough, introducing live electronics to their performances.
