Mr Betty and I were together on this walk. It was before, during or immediately after the big storm ( Sandy. Though I'm hardpressed to recall the exact timeline. I know we ventured out at night to watch an alarmingly high tide or surge or whatever it was creep up, over and across Bowen's. But back to the Cliff Walk.

2012 Newport Water Polo. October 31, 2011 · 8:57 pm. 2011 Varsity Takes 2nd @ State Tournament. Losing the final game of the season is a tough way to finish, (especially against Bellevue 😦 , 8 to 15 ) but they out swam us and played good defense. It is the first state tournament that I can remember or find history about, so it is arguably the best finish every by Newport! The program is strong, our athletes worked hard and the new coaching leadership provides a strong foundation for 2012.
